Correct Your Distorted Thinking

A New Ecourse - COMING SOON!

We all have distortions in how we see ourselves and our world.  Those distortions, if left unquestioned, can contribute to feelings of depression and low self-esteem.

In this ecourse you’ll learn to identify the 10 ways we distort our thinking, and how to correct them.  Would you like to be free of disempowering thoughts?

Why an ecourse?

Do you find that you often read self-help books or inspiring literature, but have trouble applying the principles? It might be that the principles, or the way they are presented, are too complicated or aren't a good fit with your present life. Or it might be that everything is dumped on you at once and you feel overwhelmed with the amount of stuff you have to think about.

This ecourse gently takes you through 2 weeks of guided lessons to apply in a daily practice. The lessons aren't complicated – they ask you to think about something in particular, and become aware of how that lesson is playing out in your life of recovery today, right now. They are brief and practical. Each day you will receive a new lesson.

At the end of 2 weeks you can look back and see that you have built a small foundation that gives you a different way of thinking or viewing the world, your life, your relationships, your recovery. And, with the knowledge that growth happens gradually and incrementally, you can use these same daily practices again and again, one day at a time.

I am just finishing up the details of this e-mail-based program. This is how it will work:

  • You will subscribe by filling out an e-mail form.
  • For 14 consecutive days, you'll receive an e-mail with the daily lesson. It will be short. It will give you a principle, or lesson, with suggestions for applying it to your life on that particular day.

I'm excited about having this to offer you as a free resource in the future. In the meantime, please avail yourself of the other free resources, such as the workbook and newsletter, and the links to other resources on the web.

If you want, you can send me an e-mail with "Correcting Distorted Thinking" in the subject line, and I'll notify you when the program is up and running.

TARGET DATE: February 2006
